Over sixteen hundred years ago, God raised up a man named Patrick to take the gospel of Christ to the people of Ireland. Seldom in church history has any missionary been blessed with a more fruitful ministry. The preaching of Patrick was used by God to transform many of the Irish people from idol worshiping pagans into servants of the one true God of Scripture….
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.”
(Matthew 28:19)
From the book: Saint Patrick Pioneer Missionary to Ireland
It’s hard to believe we’ve turned
this into a “Lucky”, green,
shamrock-filled day, in replacement
of the celebration of God’s work
through a simple man named Patrick,
don’t you think?

You are right, my dear friend! We need to remind ourselves and others of the true meaning of Saint Patrick's Day.
