Science?

“It’s just a silly, un-scientific oxymoron to put the word science and evolution together...Evolution is not a science and to say it is, is just ridiculous. It's a belief, it's a blind faith, and it has no substantiation. It cannot be backed up by science; you just have to ‘believe’.”

Hmm. That is really interesting! I definitely agree with what he is saying. Good way to put the whole thing! :) Thanks for sharing!

My favourite thing about evolution is that somehow, the whole universe came from, nothing...
I'd like to see a scientist reproduce that. Of course, nothing exploded, and made the world, and all that, haha, but nothing exploding? Have you ever tried to explode nothing? I do it everyday. Most of us do, unless of course your in military, that is different, but we all try to explode nothing.

Anyway, God Bless,

This ties in really well with what we're studying in Bible study. :) Thanks for posting this!

That is a very good quote, Kelsianne.
It takes a whole lot more faith than
I posses to believe in evolution. The
whole theory seems so stupid; no one
has ever seen it occur, no one has ever
found any evidence for it, you can't
test it, and yet it's scientific? All
around me I see evidence of design, no
evidence that this world was an
accident. As a family we've been
watching a Kent Hovind creation
seminar on DVD, its awesome! If you've
never seen them you really need to get
them; they are the best presentations
on creation vs. evolution I have ever
seen.

In Christ,
Gretchen

Thank-you all for your input!

Flame of Jah: I'm not sure what you mean by "We all try to explode nothing." Are you being sarcastic? True though, "everything came from nothing" doesn't make scientific sense!

Alicia: Yes, it sure does! :-)

Gretchenhope: I agree! Dark and light just do not mix, so admitting the Bible true and evolution a lie, (Even if it makes more sense) is not even an option for so many people.
The Bible study my friend was referring to, in the comment above, is actually some of Kent Hovind's talks on evolution and creation. He certainly does have some great things to say!

What I was trying to say, is that day to day, we try not to explode anything, and in doing so we are exploding nothing. Sorry I was a little ambiguous,

Have a blessed day,

Flame of Jah

Ahh, okay, thank-you for explaining. :-) We've also been listening to Kent Ham speak on some of these issues. He does a good job as well.
