Thoughts

I hope y'all had a wonderful, blessed thanksgiving day! I know our family certainly did.

Now that we are past Thanksgiving season, the Christmas season is coming in full swing. The tree is up, lights are all around, and of course, Christmas music is played every day.  Before we let this season go however, remember the One we must always keep in focus, no matter how busy we get, or where our lives take us. God is not simply "The Creator of the world who we worship on Sundays", He is our King and friend. We must revere and honor Him, yet we must also commune with Him daily.

Every action, word, and deed, should be done in His name and for His glory. Is this how we go about our day, or are we seeking only our plans and desires?

May you all have a great week.

Hey Kelsey! This was a really great post! Thanks for these words of encouragement to keep on following Him, and to continue to build up the relationship. I sometimes get frustrated if other friends don't hold up 'their side' of the friendship, and then it makes me think bout how well I'm keeping up 'my side' of the relationship with God! It's so easy to lose focus in all the commercialism of this holiday, but I pray that we will all remember the real reason that we are celebrating. :)
Thanks again! And can't wait to see y'all soon, hopefully!! :)
