May You All Have A Blessed Thanksgiving!

Hello and Happy Thanksgiving to all my faithful readers! We have so much to be thankful for, don't we? That is something to be thankful for in itself! I wrote a poem in honor of the day. (Even though it's tomorrow)which is something I've done for two years. (If you don't already know, I love poetry) :) Before you read it though, I've put some pictures here of my whole family, because a am so thankful for them as well. I am extremely blessed to live in such a wonderful, beautiful family. Praise God for his goodness, he knows what he's doing! I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving and many great years in Christ, to come.

Jonathan, Me, and Dad

Below is the poem.
Happy Thanksgiving!

My Thanks

Today we’ve come on a bended knee

Thanking our Creator of Love

Giving to us so faithfully-

Lowered hands from up above.

I know there’s one who’s care’s for me;

Who’s there to catch me when I will fall

Lord, I‘ll lift my eyes, up to Thee,

Waiting for your still gentle call.

This day, may we come with our hearts

Spilling over with thankfulness.

Lord bless the people here this day

May gratitude they not repress.

The great joy we share with others,

The compassion that shows a tear

Love fill’s our hearts up to the brim,

Just knowing our Stronghold is near.

Thank God that through freedom of speech

The blinded eyes-they will now see.

We all can share of God’s great love

Shackles loosed, as heavens break free.

May we forever grasp onto

The things we thank God for today.

As we repent of things gone wrong

And as we fold our hands to pray.

Today we come on bended knee,

With given freedom we can say:

“May we forever thank our Lord

Who’s given bountifully this day.”

Amen.
